PRE-RETIREMENT WORKSHOPS

Eligible CCWIPP members, are invited to participate in the CCWIPP Pre-retirement workshops.  Spouses are also encouraged to attend.  Previous sessions have confirmed suspicions that potential retirees need, and welcome, counselling that covers the following topics.

• Planning the financial, recreational and health aspects of post-employment years.
• Understanding the details of various pension arrangements (i.e. CPP, OAS, CCWIPP)
• Overcoming concerns about giving up your job.

These workshops answer questions about the CCWIPP...  RRSPs...  RRIFs...  Government Benefits...  Reverse Mortgages...   New Careers...  Health...  Stopping Work...    And Much, Much, More.

The Pre-Retirement workshops for 2009 have been completed, and we wish to thank all those who participated in making the presentations a success.

For those members who are eligible, watch for your invitation for the 2010 sessions. If you would like to attend one of the sessions, we ask that you register promptly upon receipt of your invitation, as seating is limited.
